Ronan teaches saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, ensembles, music theory, creative practice and composition.

 

He has fifteen years of teaching experience including work as visiting faculty at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory in Nepal and designing/delivering a residential curriculum at Aldborough Young Musicians for Britten Pears Arts.

Ronan's teaching style is based around his belief that every person has their own unique way of learning and aims to find a way of working with each student or group to facilitate musical growth.

Ronan has a degree in performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London, an LRAM teaching diploma, a graduate certificate in counselling from Goldsmiths university and is currently studying for a masters in Music Education at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
